Misfit Magnetar Conceals Its 'Allure' Beneath The Surface | Video

A highly magnetic neutron star (Magnetar SGR 0148) has a much weaker magnetic field at its surface than others of its kind, but can still muster high-energy flares. Researchers believe a strong magnetic field lies tightly wrapped beneath its surface.
