Generation Orbit Hires Alex Adams as Aerospace Engineer



Generation_Orbit ATLANTA, Feb. 28, 2014 (GO PR) — Generation Orbit Launch Services, Inc. (GO) is pleased to welcome Mr. Alex Adams to the team as an Aerospace Engineer. Mr. Adams will be responsible for design, prototyping, integration and testing of GOLauncher 2 subsystems being developed in-house at GO, as well as conducting system-level analyses.


Mr. Adams began his position with GO in early February. Previously, he completed internships at both SE-IR Corporation and NASA Dryden Flight Research Center during his undergraduate and graduate studies. On his own time, he mentored a high school robotics team and worked on various engineering projects including developing hybrid and liquid rocket engines. Mr. Adams holds a Master of Science in Astronautical Engineering focused on spacecraft propulsion from University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with a Minor in Physics from University of California, Santa Barbara.


When asked about the start of his tenure at GO Mr. Adams commented, “Generation Orbit is a great place to work that allows team members to meaningfully contribute to an exciting project with the goal of changing the way small satellites get to space.”


“Alex has an extensive background in hardware development for space systems,” commented GO’s COO A.J. Piplica. “We welcome his experience and initiative to our team as we look forward to putting out our initial hardware products for GOLauncher 2.”
