Andromeda and Milky Way Slow Dance to Merger | Animation

In what some call an act of cosmic cannibalism, the Andromeda galaxy will devour our Milky Way in about 5 billion years. Our Sun will be long dead but future solar systems will undergo little disruption because the distances between most stars is so great.
