The NASA probe launched in January 2005 and will encounter Pluto in the summer of 2015. The animation starts from the beginning of its journey beyond Low-Earth Orbit, through its gravity-assist fly-by of Jupiter and finally to stunning new visualizations of Pluto and its moons.
