MOJAVE, Calif. (Scaled Composites PR) — Scaled was awarded the Aerospace Systems sector President’s Award for “innovation for affordability excellence” in August 2014.
We were then submitted to the corporate level as a nomination for the same category, competing against all other sectors and was selected by Wes Bush, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Northrop Grumman to receive the 2014 Award for Excellence.
The Award for Excellence is Northrop Grumman’s highest honor, presented for “extraordinary performance and contributions to our company in the areas of operational excellence, customer excellence, program excellence, and innovation for affordability excellence.”
