Three hours after the Chandra X-Ray Telescope detected one of the largest flares ever observed originating from the Milky Way’s supermassive black hole, the IceCube Neutrino Observatory in Antartica detected a high-energy neutrino. This could be a lead in the on-going investigation of where these charge-less ‘ghost-particles' come from.
