The European Space Agency's Rosetta mission will attempt to land its Philae lander on comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko on Nov. 12th, 2014. According to NASA, "the comet is moving 40X faster than a bullet, spinning and shooting out gas" and that doesn't include the hazardous terrain that awaits it.
