I’m a bit confused. They call this “integrated vehicle fluids” so I would have assumed it has something to do with managing the flow of fluids (aka propellants) in a rocket engine. I was immediately thinking about XCORs piston fuel pumps (that they have been developing together with ULA for some time now), but then they never mentioned XCOR once and only talk about generating power by using a piston combustion engine to burn excess hydrogen…
So will ULAs future rocket stages have both a piston engine and a piston pump?
